7-5-2013- AGE OF ACCOUNTABILITY
"REMARKS"
IN THE SCRIPTURES THERE IS NO SCRIPTURE THAT RELEGATES AN AGE OF ACCOUNTABILITY, THOUGH THERE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SOME RECOGNITION THAT THE AGE OF 12, WAS DEDICATED TO THE AGE OF ACCOUNTABILITY.
BUT HEREIN LIES THE SITUATION!
YAH'WEH, HAD A KING OF ISRAEL AT THE AGE OF 7 YEARS OLD. HIS NAME WAS JE-HO-ASH, AND HE DID WHAT WAS RIGHT IN THE EYES OF YAH'WEH. IF A 7 YEAR OLD KID CAN BE A KING OF ISRAEL, THEN IT WOULD HAVE HAD TO BE WITH YAH'WEHS, OWN INTELLIGENCE AND WISDOM.
WHATEVER THE CASE, WE MUST REMEMBER, WE ARE ALL BORN IN SIN FROM OUR MOTHERS WOMB AND ARE ACCOUNTABLE FOR ALL OUR PAST SINS. IF WE NEVER REPENT, THEN OUR SINS GO TO THE GRAVE WITH US AND WE ARE LOST.
BUT IF WE REPENT, AND ASK FORGIVENESS FOR ALL OUR SINS FROM OUR BIRTH, THEN WE HAVE REACHED THE AGE OF ACCOUNTABILITY. IT MIGHT BE AT ANY AGE, OF 7, OR 100. THERE IS REALLY NO GIVEN AGE OF ACCOUNTABILITY, ONLY WHEN WE CONFESS OUR SINS AND REPENT, DOES THIS WORD ACCOUNTABILITY APPLY.
WHAT I AM TRYING TO CONVEY TO YOU IS, THERE IS NO DIRECT AGE STATED IN SCRIPTURES THAT I KNOW OF AND THEREFORE, IT LEAVES US WITH THE STATEMENT ABOVE.
WE BECOME ACCOUNTABLE, WHEN WE RECOGNIZE WE ARE SINNERS, IN NEED OF A SAVIOR, AND REPENT AND ASK FORGIVENESS, AT WHATEVER AGE.
WE ALSO NEED TO BE ACCOUNTABLE TO SOMEONE IN THE CHURCH, AS WELL, BE ACCOUNTABLE TO YAH'WEH, AND HIS SON, JESUS, YAH'SHUA, WHO DIED AND SHED HIS BLOOD FOR THE ATONEMENT OF OUR SINS, TO GIVE VALIDITY TO THE ACCOUNTABILITY FACTOR OF OUR SINS.
